Organic fall drop!
Together with the rest of the Grand Studio team, we created this organic collection for fall 2023. An inspiration for this drop is the symbiosis between nature and tech. Forms and silhouettes mimic living creatures and forms from the magical world of plants. With their organic cutlines and blocks, the pieces in this collection reference biomimicking and animals’ natural protective mechanisms. The silhouettes and forms are working together with technical fabrics, combining matt and shine, tech ripstop, 2.5L and 3L waterproof and windproof fabrics. In this fall drop fashion meets function with materials protective from the outside environment – wind, water, cold, abrasion, just like protective layers of flora and fauna. The designs shown are from the men’s and unisex collection and are imagined and executed by Miguel Vilacha and myself, with the support of the development and pattern team from H&M Move.
